Dr. Balázs Móritz

He provides of counsel assistance to our firm in matters involving criminal law aspects. His experience includes, but is not limited to the classic defense attorney tasks, but Balázs also regularly represents aggrieved parties in criminal procedures. He often represents clients as defendants or aggrieved parties before the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg in matters regarding the Rome Treaty.
He received his law degree from the Faculty of Law of Pázmány Péter University in 2000. He spent his junior attorney years at a prestigious Hungarian law firm specialised in criminal law, and subsequently he started his own practice. He is a member of the Budapest Bar Association and the Hungarian Association of Criminal Law. He worked as an associate lecturer at his alma mater on the fields of criminal law and criminal procedures.
